How do I get verified?
With identity verification you securely confirm that you are the person you say you are. Verified profiles enjoy more trust and unlock certain features.
What levels of verification are there?
Profiles are either unverified or verified. Behind the scenes we distinguish levels that unlock additional features – offering rideshares, for example. What you see on the outside is the clear verified seal.
What does the verified seal mean?
The verified seal shows that a person’s identity has been checked. It is a clear signal of trust: there is a real, confirmed human behind the profile.
What are “verified meet-ups”?
When you confirm each other after a meet-up, it counts as a verified meet-up. That confirmation goes both ways – nobody can award it alone.
Verified meet-ups appear on the profile as a signal of trust and show that real encounters genuinely happen here.
What does the “last active” display mean?
It shows to the day when someone was last active – as a guide to how quickly you can expect a reply. It is deliberately not live tracking down to the second, and you can switch the display off in your settings.
What does “what you have in common” show?
When you look at someone else’s profile, we highlight what connects you: shared interests, groups and friends. That makes a good opening and takes the awkwardness out of first contact.
