Common questions about groups
What does it cost to join a group?
Nothing. On the free plan you can be in up to three groups at once, on Standard fifteen, on Premium as many as you like. Wegbegleiter365 charges nothing for the meet-ups themselves – if a meet-up costs something (entry, drinks), it says so in the announcement.
Can I start my own group?
Yes, from the Standard plan onwards. Anyone leading a group has to confirm their identity first – Standard lets you lead one group, Premium up to five. The ID requirement is deliberate: whoever brings other people together should not stay anonymous.
Which cities already have groups?
It starts in Berlin, with more cities added once enough people are there. The city pages show the real state of play – we do not list a city as active when there is nothing to attend.
How often does a group meet?
The group decides. Some meet weekly at a fixed time, others irregularly. Recurring meet-ups can be set up once and then run on their own; each individual date has its own list of attendees.
What happens if someone in a group behaves badly?
You can report any profile, post or meet-up from any view. The report goes into a review queue, not to the person concerned. Blocking works across the whole platform: whoever is blocked no longer sees you in groups, meet-ups or messages.
Do I have to attend a meet-up straight away?
No. Plenty of people read along for a while before saying yes. The group feed runs without you being there, and nobody can see how long you have been a member without showing up.
