Is the singles area a dating app?
It is the part of the platform that is about finding a partner – but without endless swiping. Instead of a flood of pictures you get a few suggestions with profiles that have depth, and the next step is a concrete meeting rather than another round of chat.
What is the minimum age for the singles area?
Eighteen. The platform itself is open from sixteen, the singles area deliberately is not: minors and adults in the same partner search would be the biggest child-protection risk we could take.
Can everyone see that I am in the singles area?
No. You switch on visibility in the singles area yourself, and it is separate from your normal profile. Someone who only knows you from a group does not see your singles status.
Do I have to pay for the singles area?
No, getting started is free. Paid plans mainly raise the limits on first contact: for free you message five new people a day, with Standard fifty, with Premium as many as you like.
How is this different from friendship and companionship?
The other areas – groups, things to do, rides – are explicitly not built for partner search, and chatting people up there is grounds for a report. If you are only looking for company, you never have to enter the singles area.
How do I tell whether a profile is genuine?
Verified members carry a seal, backed by an ID check with a live selfie rather than a phone number. Verification is voluntary; a profile without a seal is not automatically fake, but a profile with one is demonstrably tied to a real person.
