Wegbegleiter365 is a platform for real encounters – and that only works with trust. Here’s what we actually do for it, and where to turn when you don’t know what to do.
Verified profiles
Anyone who confirms their ID and a selfie through our verification service (Stripe Identity) gets a verified seal on their profile. For drivers and organisers the check is mandatory.
Blocking
One tap is enough – the person disappears from your view for good and can no longer reach you.
Reporting
Profiles and content can be reported anywhere. Every report reaches our team and is reviewed by hand.
Reviews after meeting up
After rides and events, the people involved review each other – only those who were actually there. That gives an honest picture rather than a glossy one.
Private mode
Hide your online status and browse invisibly. It’s a privacy feature, free on every plan – never behind a paywall.
Location only with your consent
We never ask for your precise location unprompted. You can simply enter your town yourself.
EU servers, GDPR
Your data sits in Frankfurt am Main. No advertising profile, no selling of your data.
18 and over
The platform is for adults only. We actively ask for your age when you sign up.
Transparency report
Trust comes from being able to check. These figures come live from our systems (updated hourly, fully anonymous) – since the platform launched.
So far there have been no reports and no content flagged by our AI moderation. We show that honestly too – as soon as there are figures, they’ll appear here automatically.
One verification that actually counts
We deliberately avoid a ladder of bronze, silver and gold. It confuses more than it helps. With us there is exactly one proof that counts – and it’s unambiguous.
Verified
✓ identity checkedID and selfie have been matched through our verification service, Stripe Identity. The profile visibly carries the verified seal. For drivers and organisers this check is mandatory – to protect everyone taking part. For everyone else it’s voluntary, and it immediately builds trust.
Not verified yet
You can use Wegbegleiter365 without an identity check too. But you can see at a glance who has taken the extra step – and decide for yourself how close you want to get. Only verified drivers and organisers may publish paid offers.
How to meet safely
The most important things are in your hands. These six points make any meeting more relaxed:
Meet in public
Pick a public place for a first meeting – a café, a park, a group activity. Not someone’s home while you’re still getting to know each other.
Message first
Chat in the app beforehand. A short phone call or a few messages give you a feel for whether it fits.
Tell someone
Every meeting page has a “share this meeting with someone you trust” button – one tap sends the place, time and link to whoever you like (WhatsApp, SMS, email).
Travel under your own steam
Come and go under your own power – your own transport or public transport. That way you stay independent at all times.
Trust your gut
If it doesn’t feel right, you can leave at any time – no explanation needed. Nobody has to justify themselves.
