Common questions for cafés, bars and venues
What do I get out of a venue listing?
Your address shows up in the city feed when groups nearby are looking for somewhere to meet. Group meet-ups typically bring several people at once and on weekdays – exactly the times that are otherwise quiet.
Do I pay per guest or a flat fee?
A flat monthly fee, not per guest and not per reservation. There is no commission on your revenue – what the group spends with you is none of our business.
Do I have to hold tables or take reservations?
No. The listing is visibility, not a booking obligation. Whether and how you let groups reserve is up to you, and you write it into your listing.
Which kinds of business is this worth it for?
Anywhere people can sit and talk for a while: cafés, bars, restaurants with a back room, board-game venues, bookshops with a reading corner. It is not worth it for pure takeaway operations – there is nothing there for a group to stay for.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, at the end of the current billing period, online and without a phone call. The listing then disappears from the city feed; meet-ups that already happened stay in the groups’ history.
