Safety & reports

Your conversations cannot be viewed by other members. We protect personal content such as messages and photos with particular care and process it exclusively on EU servers.

Every report goes to our moderation team and is usually reviewed within 24 hours. Depending on the case we issue warnings, hide content or suspend accounts. Your report stays invisible to the person reported.

Safety is built in with us, not added afterwards: identity verification, mutual meet-up confirmation, an age limit of 16 and the ability to report or block from any view.

All servers are in the EU, and your personal data is particularly well protected.

Meet in a public place the first time, in a café or at a group meet-up for example. Tell someone you trust where you are going, and listen to your gut feeling.

If something does not feel right, end the meeting at any time – you do not owe anyone an explanation.

Using the “Report” button – it is available on every profile and in every view. Briefly describe what it is about. We usually review reports within 24 hours.

Blocked people can no longer see you, write to you or interact with you. Blocking is possible at any time and is invisible to the other person.

You can create an account from the age of 16. That is also the age at which you may decide about the processing of your own data in Germany.

Singles search and Funkenflug are partner search and therefore stay reserved for people aged 18 and over. Anyone younger neither sees those areas nor appears in them.

We rely on verification, confirmed meet-ups and active moderation. If you notice a suspicious profile, report it – every report helps keep the community clean.
