Plenty of people would love someone to go hiking with, to go to the cinema with, to have a coffee with on a Sunday – and still find no way in. Not because they dislike anyone, but because the first step is hard. Wegbegleiter365 makes that step a little lighter.
What drives us
Loneliness is not a fringe issue. It affects young people in a new city just as much as older people whose circle of friends has grown smaller. We believe real encounters are the best remedy – not more endless swiping, but people doing something together. So we are building a platform that puts meeting up in real life at the centre, for every age and without the dating cliché.
How Wegbegleiter365 works
At heart it is simple: you say what you have in mind and find people who will come along. Four steps, that is all it takes.
1.Create a profile
In a few minutes you tell people who you are and what you enjoy doing. You decide how much you show – serious, and with no pressure.
2.Find one or start one
Join a group, sign up for a meet-up or start one yourself. From a walk to a trip, it is all there.
3.Actually meet
A message becomes a date, a date becomes an encounter. That is exactly what we are here for: so that people do not just write to each other, but see each other.
4.Safe along the way

Who is behind it
Behind Wegbegleiter365 are people who know from their own experience how valuable real encounters are – with one clear conviction: technology should bring people together, not keep them apart. We are on the ground in Berlin and growing city by city.
André started Wegbegleiter365 because he knows from people around him how quickly you can end up isolated even with full days. His aim: a platform that feels trustworthy and where people really dare to take the first step.
Isabelle makes sure the people looking for a companion actually find us – honestly and without grand promises. What matters most to her is that people who are usually sceptical of platforms like this feel spoken to as well.
In Berlin we are there in person: our city manager accompanies the first groups and meet-ups, is approachable, and makes sure an app turns into a real neighbourhood. We are expanding that city by city.
